Foundations

Long before there was a company called “Case IH,” Jerome Increase Case founded a company called Racine Threshing Machine Works in 1842. Not long after, another company called McCormick Harvesting Machine Company was created by Cyrus McCormick, and it later became International Harvester—IH. Both businesses focused on agricultural equipment to enhance farm productivity.

Unification

In 1985, Jerome Increase Case bought the agricultural division of International Harvester. This new entity combined Case’s name with IH, resulting in the Case IH we know and love today. Their first product, the Magnum™ tractor, is still in production today and is one of the company’s most versatile and powerful machines.

Today

Today, Case IH® equipment is some of the most powerful and efficient agricultural machinery on the market. Careful emissions-control with Selective Catalytic Reduction on their diesel engines ensures you have the power you need without harming the environment more than is necessary, and you can’t beat the sheer variety of options in their product lineups.
